Recent research both in New Zealand and overseas shows that encouraging your children to practice at home what they’re learning in the classroom has a hugely positive impact on their success at school. These can be simple tasks such as reading with them, revising letter sounds, adding and subtracting numbers, learning times tables, or coaching more complex skills to remember information for a test or organise homework. I work with families so they can more easily encourage their children to become keen and successful students.

I invite you to a series of Families as Coaches sessions face-to-face and on line which share the years of knowledge and skills I have gathered through study and through working with families and their children. It also includes my book How To Coach Your Children To Be Excellent Students.

The first core skills webinars are created so that I can support you to create a successful and fun coaching relationship with your child. Each session builds on the other so that you systematically learn the coaching skills you need to work effectively with your child. These webinars will have limited numbers because I want us to work closely together to create the change you want. My aim with these four core skills webinars is that you will work with your child using fun, effective, and interesting strategies to progress their learning.
