About me

I’d like to introduce myself to you. I’m Anne Marsh. I have been a learning coach for more than 30 years and I love my work. I’m still finding new ways to coach families and their children, and coaching continues to be an interesting, and more often than not, fun experience. I wanted to share my ideas to a wider audience, so I began this website, wrote a manual on how to coach your children successfully, and I’m currently completing a much longer book called ‘Thrive’ that has everything you need to work with your child at home so they enjoy learning the foundational skills of reading, writing, and maths.

All the families I have known have had different ways of parenting, but they have all wanted only the best for their child. I believe that families can be crucial change agents for their child so that they become successful and confident students. Families (including parents and grandparents, aunties, uncles and siblings) can help their child to develop their reading, writing, and maths skills and become happy, confident, and successful students.

A child who has developed core reading, writing, and maths skills will more likely feel confident, intelligent, and at ease when faced with learning they find difficult. I have resources that can support you to be that powerful change-agent for your child.

The coaching ideas I use have been developed over my lifetime as a child, teacher, mother, student, business owner and learning coach. Families who have worked with me have usually been surprised how fast their child begins to learn more easily, and how quickly they change their mind about reading, writing, or maths, and begin to love learning. I want my coaching tips to be available for any family as they support their child’s learning so that they can refer to them whenever they need to.

I know that when you deeply believe that your child’s learning is important, you will find the time, energy, skills, and space to support them, even when some of those things are limited. The coaching ideas I use have been developed over my lifetime as a child, teacher, mother, student, business owner and learning coach.
